on the efficacy of the om mani padme hum mantra (six syllable formula of Avalokiteshvara) in popular Buddhist practice, i can only say "khrom la ma ni bskul ba'i thabs".

ReplyDeleteWell, I certainly have a good idea what some of my Freud-loving friends in graduate school would think about flowers growing out of somebody's groin...but, I've always found that kind of thinking rather limiting. Personally, I like the images here, but, apart from the "jewel in the lotus" mentioned by a previous commenter, can't say much about it...
